Description
The Hydromatic water pressure boosters are self priming Ebara booster pumps fitted with a Controlpump demand switch. This compact model is designed for increasing water pressure in smaller applications such as flats, site cabins and garden irrigation.
Hydomatic water booster pumps can draw water from a storage tank or well up to 8 metres deep when fitted with an option foot valve.
The pressure switch integrated in the Controlpump ensures automatic operation to meet the demand for water. When a valve or tap is opened the Controlpump detects the drop in pressure and starts the pressure boosting pump, which runs continuously until demand for water ceases. The Controlpump then runs the pump for a further 10 seconds until the maximum pressure of the pump is achieved. It then switches the pump off ready for the next demand for water.
An additional benefit of the Hydromatic water pressure booster pump design is its dry run protection. In the event of the water supply failing during operation, Controlpump shuts down to prevent damage to the pump. Once the water supply is restored, you can restart the pump by pressing the reset button.
