Description

The 4” Franklin Electric submersible motors are one of the best selling on the entire market thanks to their highly efficient, dependable design. These Franklin Electric motors will fit most 4” borehole pumps thanks to their standard NEMA coupling, allowing you to replace just the motor or just the bare shaft pump.

Constructed from graded corrosion resistant stainless steel and fitted with a water lubricated radial and thrust bearings, these borehole pump motors offer extremely reliable, maintenance free operation. Franklin Electric motors also boast extremely efficient electrical operation keeping your running costs down and have a protective hermetically sealed stator and anti-track, self-healing stator resin to prevent motor burn out.

The 4" stainless steel borehole motor has undergone a recent upgrade to further improve it and adapt to market conditions. The stator now has a solid AISI 304 stainless steel end ring for better corrosion resistance and robustness. Cable connection improvements have also been implemented for better handling (see datasheet for photos).

Single phase 230V motors operate with a permanent split capacitor (PSC) and overload box. You can purchase the capacitor/overload box here.
