Description
Lowara Ecocirc XLplus variable speed, wet rotor circulator pumps for domestic and commercial hot water and central heating systems.
Studies have shown that 10-15% of energy consumption in domestic households is due to central heating circulator pumps, and with energy prices at an all time high, now is the time to consider your options. Lowara Ecocirc XLplus is a modern, electronically controlled recirculating pump that is designed with state of the art hydraulics, motor and intelligent controls and high efficiency in mind. The circulator pump has an EEI that is even better than the ErP 2015 level.
By investing in a Lowara Ecocirc XL circulator pump you can expect to see long term energy savings, with the unit paying for itself after approximately 2 years (dependent on operation time) – with a study by manufacturer, Xylem proving this.
All twin head Ecocirc XLplus models will come with a tapping on the side of the casing, this gives you the ability to remove air from the casing manually. In some instances where the twin head Ecocirc XLplus is fitted in a horizontal position (where the flow direction is left to right or right to left) air can get trapped in the top head of the pump. Inspired by customer feedback, Lowara have fitted a ¼” threaded connection on both sides of the casing to either bleed the pump manually or to fit an automatic air release valve. The auto air purge process is still included in the programming of the pump.
