Description

Lowara DOMO electric submersible pumps are designed to transfer foul wastewater and dirty water containing solids up to 50mm. The Lowara DOMO submersible pumps have a robust design for maximum abrasion resistance, made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a polyurethane internal coating. These high-quality submersible dirty water pumps are versatile solutions suitable for various applications, including emptying septic tanks and residential sumps, pumping effluent, emptying wells and tanks and emergency flood drainage.

The submersible effluent pumps have a motor with a double mechanical seal system in wear-resistant silicon carbide to prevent water ingress and ensure long life. To enhance the robust pump design, these submersible dirty water pumps are supplied with a stainless-steel rotating shaft, protected by a lip seal, which prevents sand and other abrasive material from damaging the shaft seals. The seal system is continuously lubricated by Lowara’s DRIVELUB system, ensuring long-life, trouble-free operation and lower maintenance costs.

Available with twin-channel impeller (standard models listed above without a suffix), vortex impeller (VX suffix), and grinder impeller, Lowara DOMO submersible pumps can also be supplied with or without float switch for automatic operation. Submersible dirty water pumps with channel impellers are generally more efficient than vortex impellers, but it needs to be considered that they are more prone to blockage. As a leading submersible pump supplier, we recommend using vortex impeller pumps in all sewage applications due to the minimal risk of clogging and solid handling capabilities, unless the discharge head is too high, or the pipe run is too long.
