Description
The hydrogen sulfhide removal system is specially designed to remove Hydrogen sulphide (H2S), a gas that makes water smell like rotten eggs, by oxidizing the gas and passing the water through carbon filter media that completely remove the Hydrogen sulphide. This novel hydrogen sulfhide removal system is more efficient, provides superior performance, and has a longer service life than conventional carbon filters where the carbon gets saturated and needs regularly replacing. Ideal for domestic and industrial borehole filtration systems, these private water supply filters are commonly used to remove unpleasant odours, prevent iron, steel, copper and brass corrosion in well casing/plumbing/bathroom fixtures, and improve the appearance and taste of private water supply.
The idea of the system is to oxidize the income water for sulphur removal by spraying the H2S through a layer of air held in the top of the vessel oxidizing the gas. As the water flows into the tank of the water supply filter, it will pass through a “boundary layer” of water, down through the carbon “media” where the remaining hydrogen sulfhide is completely removed. This vastly improves the capacity of the carbon-reducing the need and cost of replacement carbon.
