Description
Commercial water softeners with Clack® WS1 metered valve are designed to remove magnesium and calcium minerals from the water through ion exchange. As the water passes through the industrial water softener system, the ion-exchange resin replaces magnesium and calcium ions with sodium ions. Once the resin becomes saturated, the Clack® control valve automatically regenerates the resin with a brine solution. The commercial water softeners then rinse the minerals together with any remaining brine solution and automatically put the system back into service. In installations where the water supply cannot be interrupted, we use two or more units linked together so that one unit is always in service while the other is regenerating.
Suitable for commercial, industrial and residential applications, this water softener is a reliable, hassle-free solution for main and private water supply. The industrial water softener is typically used for central heating protection, boiler feed water, car wash systems, pre–treatment, catering systems, cleaning applications and can help to maintain the efficiency of heating elements and the pipework by preventing scale deposits from forming.
