These backwash filters are supplied with ECOMIX®, a composite filter media for problem water specially designed to remove Iron, Manganese, Ammonium, organic matter, & hardness from the borehole filtration system. This way, these five major complications of borehole and well water are resolved by just one filter, instead of conventional approaches, which require a separate borehole water filter for each problem.

These iron water filters with ECOMIX® have the most reliable technology for iron removal, which does not depend on pH, organics, chlorine or hydrogen sulfide content. The unique mixture of five specially prepared components of natural and synthetic origin allows this backwash water filter to treat ANY water within the iron and manganese concentration limits.
